Mr. Eddie Ortega, Power Ten, Inc.’s Operations Coordinator for Marine Aviation Training Systems Site (MATSS) MCAS, Beaufort, SC, received a letter of appreciation from 2d MAW Assistant Wing Commander for his selfless support, professionalism, and dedication in preparing one Marine Fighter Squadron for a training exercise and potential deployment while simultaneously supporting another Marine Fighter Squadron undergoing their Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation (MCCRE). Mr. Ortega was tasked with coordinating a volume of training in three days that typically would be completed in 6 months by providing nearly around-the-clock training and technical support to 2d MAW units.
