Power Ten, Inc. has been awarded a contract to develop "Second Generation Performance Dashboards (D2) for USMC Aviation Command and Control." Funded by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), the D2 contract was awarded as part of a Rapid Innovation Fund (RIF) contract.
Second generation performance dashboards are redefining Command and Control and Decision Support. The dashboards enable customizable displays for decision makers, operators and planners within command centers or agencies.
D2 shortens decision cycles by presenting decision-makers and staff members actionable information that is pulled from existing systems, authoritative data sources, and communities of interest. Using an open-source architecture and web-enabled display framework, D2 streamlines the sharing of critical information elements through all levels of an organization. Keeping the training and simulations operations running smoothly at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar is no small task, but with Beth Oliver on the job, the Marines have nothing to worry about. Taking on the job with the same dedication that she has devoted in her training as a world-class martial arts champion, Ms. Oliver keeps the training running efficiently and on-schedule.
Working within the Operations Office, Ms. Oliver assists in all facets of training including simulator and classroom scheduling as an Operations Coordinator with Power Ten, Inc. where she has been supporting MATSS at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar since 2009.
She comes to P10 with over four years of experience as the MCALMS Content Administrator with MATSS at MCAS New River where she was solely responsible for computer-based training for both MV-22 and CV-22. Her extensive knowledge of the MCALMS system allowed her to setup and implement the MV-22 CBTs at Miramar. Read more »
