Power Ten Supporting The November 10th Association

Power Ten, Inc. is proud to be supporting The November 10th Association by hosting a table at its 238th Annual Marine Corps Birthday Celebration taking place November 4, 2013. The November 10th Association’s Marine Corps Birthday Celebration will be in the Mar Vista Ballroom at The Resort at Pelican Hill, Newport Coast, California and is featuring 2013 Military Guest of Honor, Major General Steven W. Busby, Commanding General, Third Marine Aircraft Wing.

Power Ten, Inc.’s delegation includes Harry Spies, Russ Emons, Matt Redfern, and others from the Power Ten, Inc. team.


Major General Steven W. Busby assumed the duties of Commanding General, Third Marine Aircraft Wing on August 10, 2012. He enlisted into the Marine Corps in 1979 and was commissioned through the Enlisted Commissioning Program in 1980. Major General Busby commanded VMGR-352, Marine Aircraft Group 36 and Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force Unified Assistance in support of South Asia Tsunami Humanitarian Assistance Operations.

Major General Busby served as the Senior Advisor for Joint Experimentation and Marine Corps matters in the office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Resources and Plans, as the Commandant’s Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York City, as the Executive Assistant for the Deputy Commandant for Aviation, and as the Director of the Joint Capabilities Assessment and Integration Division.

As a general officer, he has served as the Deputy Director, Force Management, Application and Support, Joint Staff J-8. Major General Busby is a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.  Major General Busby was presented the Alfred A. Cunningham Award as the Marine Corps’ Aviator of the Year in 2001.

The November 10th Association is an informal organization of Marines and friends, who gather together each November to celebrate the Birthday of the United States Marine Corps
