Adding a fresh perspective straight from the educational powerhouse of Stanford University, Evan Barry joins the Power Ten, Inc. team. Over the past few months, Barry has accomplished a great deal leveraging his background in engineering, science management, and healthcare in his analysis of the MAGS application for the medical community.
”Evan’s ability to scope a problem and then tackle the in-depth research necessary is very impressive. He is a self-starter and has risen to every challenge we have thrown his way. He has been a great addition to the P10 Team,” said Lauren Engle, Director of Operations for Power Ten, Inc.
Multitalented Barry will continue to assist Power Ten, Inc. on projects in addition to playing professional volleyball in Germany and completing a Masters program at Stanford University.
Born and raised in San Diego and a graduate from Torrey Pines High School in 2008, Barry went on to continue his education at Stanford University where he graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Management Science and Engineering. During his time at Stanford, he competed on the Varsity Men’s Volleyball team, earning a National Championship in 2010 and All-American honors in 2012.
He is currently on a leave of absence from Stanford’s Masters program in Management Science and Engineering to pursue a professional volleyball career. He played in Örkelljunga, Sweden last season and now currently playing in Düren, Germany and will return to Stanford in 2014 to complete his Masters.
Prior to his experience at Power Ten, Evan has worked as a Business Development Intern at Qualcomm, Inc. and Scanadu, focusing on the mobile healthcare industry.
