Keeping the training and simulations operations running smoothly at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar is no small task, but with Beth Oliver on the job, the Marines have nothing to worry about. Taking on the job with the same dedication that she has devoted in her training as a world-class martial arts champion, Ms. Oliver keeps the training running efficiently and on-schedule.
Working within the Operations Office, Ms. Oliver assists in all facets of training including simulator and classroom scheduling as an Operations Coordinator with Power Ten, Inc. where she has been supporting MATSS at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar since 2009.
She comes to P10 with over four years of experience as the MCALMS Content Administrator with MATSS at MCAS New River where she was solely responsible for computer-based training for both MV-22 and CV-22. Her extensive knowledge of the MCALMS system allowed her to setup and implement the MV-22 CBTs at Miramar.
Serving not only the Marines, but also the community, Ms. Oliver has a passion for helping others which is evident through her work with numerous organizations. She is extremely active in supporting various charities including – Veterans’ Homeless Shelter, Rady’s Children’s Hospital, Susan G. Komen, and countless others, often recruiting Marines to participate in various fundraising events.
According to Ms. Oliver, the Marines really enjoy participating in these various events that help the community. They truly enjoy the satisfaction that comes along with helping others. Through her work, Ms. Oliver has helped show the local community that Marine Corps Air Station Miramar is a part of the San Diego community and has people who are willing to give back.
Beth’s outstanding integrity, perseverance and determination stem from her twenty-five years of martial arts training. A former member of the 2003 USA Woman’s World Championship team, and a sole proprietor of Hwang’s School of TaeKwon-Do, has given her the opportunity to challenge herself in many ways. This August Ms. Oliver will be traveling to London to once again represent the USA as a member of the 2013 World Championship team!
Beth Oliver is an exceedingly talented MATSS Operation Coordinator and a supportive friend of Marines and Veterans; we are extremely proud to have her on our team.
Power Ten, Inc. thanks Beth for all she does and congratulates her on a job well done.
